In April 2005, the UCSD table tennis team (Wallace Liu, Alan Nash, Thomas Plaisted, and Derrick Poon) placed 4th in the NCTTA Collegiate National Table Tennis Championships. (Ardi Banhiamad is also on the team, but could not make it to the championship.) We received the "Rookie Team of the Year" award. See results and article.

(I won't be teaching this class during 2003/2004. Perhaps I'll teach again in Fall 2004).

I often play at RIMAC, when the UCSD Table Tennis club meets (Wed 7:15 to 10:45pm).
